Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how we handle your personal information when you visit this website or join the PolymarKit early-access list. It’s short because we collect very little.

Who we are

PolymarKit is operated by Strategy Forensics, which is responsible for your personal information (the “controller” under UK data protection law). You can contact us at hello@polymarkit.com.

PolymarKit is an independent toolkit for Polymarket traders. Not affiliated with Polymarket. This policy doesn’t cover Polymarket or any other website we link to.

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you join early access.
  • Your sign-up record: whether you’ve confirmed your address or unsubscribed, when you signed up, confirmed or unsubscribed, when we last emailed you, and which sign-up form and wording you saw, as a record of your consent.
  • Limited security information. To stop abuse of the sign-up form, we keep short-lived counters that use a one-way, coded version of your IP address and email address rather than the originals. Our hosting provider, Railway, also keeps standard request logs, including your IP address, browser type and the page you requested.

We don’t collect names, wallet addresses, trading data or payment details.

How we use it

  • To confirm your address. We email you a link, and only add you to the list once you’ve clicked it.
  • To send early-access updates. Once you’ve confirmed, we send a welcome email and occasional updates about PolymarKit’s launch and early access. We do this with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
  • To keep the service secure. We use security information to prevent abuse, and we keep a record of your consent and of any unsubscribe request. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure, well-managed mailing list.

We don’t sell your information, use it for advertising or share it with Polymarket. We’ll only disclose it to anyone else if the law requires us to.

Where it’s stored and who handles it

  • Railway hosts this website and its database. Sign-ups are kept in a dedicated PostgreSQL database that’s used only for this website, separate from our other PolymarKit systems, and reachable only from the website’s private network.
  • Resend sends our emails: confirmation links, welcome emails and early-access updates.

These providers handle your information on our behalf, to run the website and send email.

International transfers

Railway and Resend are US companies. This website and its database are hosted in Railway’s US West (California) region. Resend processes email information in the United States, and its subprocessors may also process it in other countries. This means your information is transferred outside the UK. Both companies take part in the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (the “UK–US data bridge”), which UK law recognises as giving adequate protection to personal information sent to participating US organisations.

How long we keep it

  • Unconfirmed sign-ups: deleted automatically 30 days after you signed up or we last sent you a confirmation link, whichever is later.
  • Confirmed sign-ups: kept while the early-access programme runs, unless you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information sooner. Once we no longer need it for early access, we’ll delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Unsubscribed addresses: we keep your address and sign-up record, marked as unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again. Ask us if you’d like it deleted completely.
  • Security information: the counters expire after 24 hours at most and are then deleted automatically. Railway keeps its request logs for up to 30 days.
  • Backups: deleted information can remain in our database backups for up to four weeks, until those backups expire.

Your rights

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, delete or send you a copy of your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@polymarkit.com. We’ll reply within one month, or tell you if we need longer for a complex request, as the law allows. We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from your email address.
  • If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we’ll email you first.
